MCoronary
artery disease (CAD) is complex desease caused by interaction
between genetic and enviromental factors. The main risc factors
of CAD (hypertension, holesterol, diabetes, smoking) and their
role in patogenesis of CAD are well examined and defined in numerous
controled clinical sudies.Intensive development of molecular genetics
in last decade has showed that the genetic polymorphism-mutation
some of known gens, increase the risc of CAD.In our study we have
analised correlation between polymorphism, insertion-deletion,
of gene for angiotenzin convertising enzyme (ACE) and CAD in Bosnian
population.Genetic polymorphism of components of renin-angiotenzin
sistem is considered to be risc factor of CAD.In our study was
included 100 patients with CAD from Cardiovascular Clinic Tuzla
who were hospitalized in 1998-2000.Diagnosis of CAD was confirmed
by coronary angiography.Control group has consisted from healty
people and patients with some other cardiovascular disease.Molecular
genetic diagnosis-detection has performed in Clinical Center Ljubljana
by PCR (polymerase chain reaction) method.Statistical analysis
has done and compared with data from literature
