From total
number of 8.945 patient at Institute for determination of working
ability in Sarajevo during 2000, there was selected 2.362 (26,4%)
patient with cardiovascular diseases for analysis, and from that
number 1.810 (86,63%) men and 552 (23,37%) women. With 760 patients
it was not found any disability or all conditions were not for
field (diagnosis or medical treatment was not finished).With 1.602
patients was determinated disability, from that number in loco
(62,42%) cases first category and in 602 (37,58%) cases second
category of disability. Lost of working ability in a first determination
was verified in 512 (51,2%) cases, change of working ability in
265 (44,02%) cases. Cardiovascular diseases are causes dominant
of first category of disability. Ethiological participation at
34,8% was at the first place, in fron of the group with mental
and behavior disturbances (28,8%) and cancers (l0,7%). Homogeny
structure of regional distribution (criteria p 0,01) pointing
that cardiovascular diseases in all territories of Federation
without regional significations. In ethiology of first category
of disability on a first place are hypertensive diseases (110-115),with
27,2%, ishaemic diseases of heart (120-125) with 25,1% and other
diseases of heart (130-152) with 15,2% cerebrovascular diseases
(160-169) with 16,62% and diseases of arteries, arterioles and
capillars (170-179) with 13,75% in ethiology of second category
disability are participating with 20,5% after musculosceletal
diseases and group of injuries in war, on work and out of work.
Real cause of disability is not discovered, not prevented, not
treated, not properly treatedand not controlled arterial hypertension.
